1. INDIRA AWAAS YOJANA
Indira Awas Yojana is a Centrally
Sponsored scheme. Under this scheme, assistance of Rs.38,500/- per
beneficiary was being provided to BPL families for the construction of new
houses upto 31-03-2010 . Now w.e.f. 1-04-2010 the assistance has been
enhanced to Rs.48,500/- per unit. The selection of
beneficiaries is being done by Gram Sabha. This scheme is being financed by Centre and State Government
on 75:25 sharing basis.
2. ATAL AWAS
YOJANA
This scheme is
a State sponsored scheme and is being implemented on the pattern of
Indira Awas Yojana. with a view to provide housing facility to Rural BPL
houseless families the state Government has launched a Rural Housing
Scheme "Atal Awas Yojana" w.e.f. 01-04-2010. Under this scheme,
assistance of Rs.38,500/- per beneficiary was being provided to BPL
families for the construction of new houses upto 31-03-2010. Now
w.e.f.01-04-2010, the assistance has been enhanced to Rs.. 48,500/- per
unit. The selection of beneficiaries is being done by Gram Sabha.
